LVivo

LVivo uses highly sophisticated proprietary image processing technology to overhaul the standard echo evaluation process.

.

LVivo is capable of automatically detecting the wall borders of the left ventricle (LV) and accurately recognizing the LV region. Once the wall borders are detected, LVivo is able to track their movements, enabling precise quantitative assessment of the heart’s dynamic performance.

.

Currently, the LVivo toolset includes the LVivo EF and the LVivo SG.

LVivo Highlights

• Fully automated

• Tracks LV border in each frame and cycle. No need to choose the ED and ES frames.

• Bypasses the manual "mark-and-trace" process.

• Fast: only a few seconds are required to complete a full evaluation of multiple beats.

• Supports DICOM or any other digital data format.

• Reliable and reproducible.

• Can be easily integrated into echo devices or PACS systems.

• Requires low processing power and memory.

LVivo Automated Quality Assurance

In line with DiACardio’s total dedication to quality, the LVivo platform includes tools that automate quality assurance activities. These tools verify both input video and output streams to ensure the reliability of the system’s results.

.

In addition, LVivo provides a manual editing option that allows users to manually change the outcome suggested by the automated LVivo process to reflect their experienced point of view.

.

Validation: LVivo EF was tested vs. manual contours -EDV (r=0.86 p<0.02), ESV (r-0.89, p<0.02), EF (r=0.83, p<0.02). Following a successful clinical trial, it received both FDA and CE approval.

LVivo EF

LVivo EF is a fully automated tool that uses fast pattern recognition algorithms to analyze echo examinations without the need for a statistical model or additional subjective or manual inputs.

.

LVivo EF provides a whole new level of accuracy and consistency evaluating the EF. Since LVivo EF automatically traces and tracks the LV border in each frame of the cardiac cycle, it is able to automatically calculate LV volumes, accurately identify End Diastolic (ED) and End Systolic (ES) frames and calculate the EF of every recorded beat. LVivo EF’s full dynamic evaluation is performed within a few seconds.

.

As such, use of the LVivo EF enhances accuracy, reduces errors and saves time compared with currently available EF evaluation techniques. The LVivo EF evaluation can be easily integrated into and/or performed on any DICOM or other calibrated digital echo video format. As such, it can work with a broad variety of ultrasound systems and is not limited to the systems provided by a specific vendor.

.

LVivo EF is designed to support Echocardiographer workflow to help them deliver fast, reliable and accurate results. LVivo EF has been tested successfully on data collected from more than 400 patients with various degrees of LV function. After these tests demonstrated highly accurate results that significantly outperformed original expectations, the system received both FDA and CE approval.

LVivo SG

LVivo SG expands DiACardio's LVivo platform to support automated evaluation of segmental LV wall contraction. The product presents qualitative wall motion scores for each beat that are calculated using a novel algorithm that uses 13 parameters to describe and classify the wall motion. The wall motion results are also presented in a graphical “bulls-eye” diagram (quantitatively and via color coding) representation. The product also provides strain calculations and gives the user a graphical display of the calculation parameters used.
